Adidas is all in and now is the time for Nike

Adidas is all in and now is the time for Nike. Well Nike, you’re too late. After more than a year, Nike realizes that this ‘live fast die young’ spirit is the one their marketing should go with. Just seen here in town, their ‘My Time is Now’ campaign. ‘All In’ and ‘My Time is Now’. Their message seems to be pretty much the same just in different words, although Adidas is clearly already all in while Nike only notes that it’s his time, pussy’s.

And here is Wesley Sneijder screaming for likes for Nike, terrible

Jim Cornish explains the process of storyboarding

Masterclass Jim Cornish storyboard artist superstar!

Today I will be following a masterclass by storyboard artist Jim Cornish (imdb). He worked on pictures no less than The Descent, the last four Harry Potter fiilms, Batman Begins, the Dark Knight, X-Men: First Class and the next James Bond movie Skyfall. I can’t wait to hear his view on storytelling and creative translation. I would love to know how he – when drawing out the script shot by shot – how he as a storyboard artist capture and grasp that shot the director wants? In other words, the director has that shot in every detail in his mind, but how are words sufficient in translating an image? What is his creative role in a film as storyboard artist? How does that process works?

ESPN Michael Jordan Commercial – It’s Not Crazy, It’s Sports

Here’s a great ad by ESPN. It must suck to have the name of a celebrity. Just like Justin Bieber.

His face on 0:07 is priceless.
